I bought these back plates to replace some shiny brass/gold colored knobs and back plates. I was really impressed with the weight of the metal. The size fit perfectly over the space where the old ones had scratched the wood underneath. I would highly recommend these.

We were looking for backer plates for knobs for our white cabinets. Fingers and finger nails were beginning to mark the draws around the existing knob pulls. These backer plates match our satin nickle knobs perfectly and provide the function of keeping fingers and fingernails away from the white draw fronts. We could not find these anywhere at the local "big box" home improvement stores.

The company, ATG, gave very good customer service! They gave excellent help with an original order glitch. The backplates are just what was needed, and help keep our painted kitchen cabinets from being scratched with use.
