This blanket is a perfect size for traveling or for just snuggling on the couch. The texture is lovely - similar to silk. It folds into a small bundle, but is quite warm for the weight. I haven't yet washed mine so I can't report on how it survives the washer, but it appears to be very well-made. I'd definitely recommend it as a travel blanket or lounging throw.
