Wanted an adjustable bar stool with a relatively small footprint that wouldn't break the bank--bought 2, (considering a third now)and love them so far. The seat is very comfortable with good seat depth and a nice back, but if you're looking for full back support, the seat is a bit slippery so it's hard to stay right up against the back. Then again, if you wanted full back support, you wouldn't buy a bar stool in the first place most likely. Overall, very comfortable for adults, kids think it's fun, but as with most hydraulic stools, they weigh too little to adjust it themselves.

I also lowered them to use as extra chairs around the dining table in a pinch. They sat up a little bit higher, but did the trick. A good, versatile bar stool. Can't speak for their longevity, as I've only had them for a few weeks, but seem solid so far, and so easy to put together, I was able to do it in about 5 min.
